Introducing IAQ by Sensables

IAQ by Sensables is a small, no-setup smart device that prevents unknown exposure to harmful air pollutants by providing transparency into your indoor air quality. IAQ can measure more than 20 harmful air pollutants, including the worst ones flagged by the EPA, and alerts you when air quality drops.”

Why Is Indoor Air Quality Important?

The U.S. EPA has identified more than two dozen major indoor air pollutants that can cause serious health issues, including respiratory illness, asthma attacks, cancer, and premature death. Even at low levels, prolonged exposure to these pollutants presents a grave risk to human health and well-being. This is of increasing concern considering we now spend an estimated 90% of our time indoors [Source].

Official guidance from the EPA makes it clear there is more to be aware of in our homes and offices than just smoke and CO. But with so many pollutants to think about—particulate matter, carbon monoxide, mold, VOCs—it’s not reasonable to buy a new sensor for each. That’s why we started YourIAQ; because you shouldn’t have to think about whether or not the air in your home is safe to breathe.
